Now and Then

I was thinking about how we might avoid the consequences of repetitive and unhealthy thoughts. We could accomplish this by being totally in the moment. Because to be in the moment we are attempting to pay attention to all of the universe at once, and in order to remain in the moment we must give 100% of our attention. It does not allow us to reflect or speculate. Now is big enough to accomadate every possible version of the present , all pasts and all futures all at once. By allowing ourselves to focus on everything it doesn’t leave room for us to focus on any one thing like a repetitive unhealthy thought.
